We’re hiring a Business Development Manager to lead commercial growth across our specialist consulting and staffing solutions in financial services.

GreySpark Partners is a boutique management consultancy with deep expertise in capital markets, fintech, and regulatory change. Since 2009, we’ve delivered high-value advisory, project delivery, and resourcing services to some of the world’s most respected financial institutions.

This is a chance to join a credible, agile firm and own your sales desk. Driving strategy, building long-term client relationships, and converting demand into revenue. You’ll be working closely with the Head of Business Development, but given the autonomy to make things happen.

Responsibilities:

  • New business across capital markets, asset management, fintech, and PE-backed firms
  • Driving the full sales lifecycle: lead generation, pitching, proposals, closing, maintaining ongoing relationships
  • Working closely with SMEs to align our services with real-time client challenges
  • Turning staffing and consulting demand into long-term, strategic partnerships
  • Helping shape the go-to-market strategy with fresh ideas, data, and feedback
  • Using your network to identify new opportunities and open new doors

Requirements:

  • 2–5 years of sales experience in a recruitment agency or consulting firm, ideally within financial services
  • A proactive, commercially minded self-starter who is driven by results
  • A proven track record of delivering against targets and building lasting relationships
  • Confident, credible communicator with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build relationships with senior-level executives 
  • A genuine interest in financial markets, consultancy, and solving client challenges
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work outside of the office (attending client sites, events, etc.) 
  • Ability to work flexible working hours and be responsive, given the nature of being in a client-facing role
