Product Manager is required to join a global technology procurement company in a brand new role for this department. The company have successfully built an internal Mulesoft platform which integrates with a number of internal systems as well as with external clients. They are looking for someone to come on board and be the person responsible for managing this product and championing it.
The role will work closely with a development team based on this product as well as a number of stakeholders in a number of other teams in the business that this product integrates with. They are looking for someone with strong technical understanding around integrations and APIs and who can put in place effective documentation and workflows. They are open to someone who is maybe a Business Analyst or similar (or even a developer) who wants to step into a product manager/owner role for the first time.
The position is predominantly remote (Must be UK based) but there will be occasional travel to London required. The role can pay up to £65,000 per annum.
Key requirements:- Strong technical understanding and experience working on integrations and API interfaces
- Knowledge of Mulesoft would be beneficial but not essential
- Ability to work directly with developers but also communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to put in place new documentation and workflows
- Strong Agile experience particularly with Kanban
