We are currently seeking a professional and motivated Legal Secretary to join a well-established and welcoming law firm based in South Bristol. You will be supporting a team of 2 to 3 fee earners within a larger department of 17 team members.

Main Duties

Providing high quality secretarial and administrative support to fee earners

Digital dictation typing of legal correspondence, documents and reports

Diary management, arranging meetings and appointments

Handling incoming calls and dealing with client enquiries in a friendly, professional manner

Filing, photocopying and other general office duties

Maintaining confidentiality and compliance with legal procedures and standards

What We\’re Looking For:

Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary essential

Strong audio digital dictation typing skills

Excellent organisation and communication skills

Ability to work effectively within a busy, supportive team environment

Good attention to detail and a proactive attitude

Desirable:

Experience within clinical negligence or personal injury work would be an advantage, but is not essential
