Lead Engineer Services - Contract Outside IR35 (London)

What you will bring :

• Build high-impact web apps that power our core systems and drive real business value
• Supercharge our services with new APIs, unlocking performance and scalability
• Drive engineering excellence by shaping governance tools and guiding teams across the org.

We need knowledge, experience + expertise in:

• React experience (minimum of 3 years)
• C# experience (minimum of 3 years)
• Integrating with services via RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with BFF architectural pattern and creating a proxy layer via NodeJS, Serverless or similar technology.
• Strong testing experience from code quality through to security, customer journeys and accessibility
• Experience with agile software development methodologies
• Designing and implementing high-quality cloud software solutions, ideally with Azure
• Microservices experience with event driven systems
• Practical experience setting-up and running CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions
• Bonus if you have event sourcing experience or knowledge of DDD
