Communications Audit UK Limited is a market leader in the design and manufacture of state-of-the-art radio and data communications systems based in the Cheltenham area. To support our continued business expansion, we are looking for a Graduate Engineer to join our dynamic team of software engineers, focusing on software configuration of Radio Monitoring Systems. This is an engineering role that involves the installation, configuration and security hardening of the Linux operating system and the installation/configuration of CommsAudit application software. This role is key to delivering market-leading technology into the user community.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with new technologies, develop new skills, and work on challenging, technologically complex projects. The successful candidate must be enthusiastic about technology and able to self-learn and work independently. The role requires a positive βcan doβ attitude and the ability to provide support and assistance to internal stakeholders. On the job training and mentoring will be provided by the Company.

Requirements:- The candidate will have a good degree in a relevant subject, e.g. computer science or cyber-security, or other relevant further education qualification.
- The candidate must be able to achieve an SC level of clearance as a minimum.
- It is important that the candidate can demonstrate some exposure to the Linux/UNIX command line.
- Experience of any of the following is desirable but not essential:
- Linux system administration
- Windows system administration
- Use of scripting languages (Python/Bash etc.)
- Software development
- Use of version control systems
- Software Defined Radio
Salary: CommsAudit offer an excellent remuneration package, based on experience.
