About the Audit Assistant Manager role

Key responsibilities of the Audit Assistant Manager will include:
- Managing the audit process from planning through to completion and review the work of less experienced colleagues.
- User knowledge of both FRS102 an advantage.
- Demonstrate excellent technical ability.
- Ability to build effective client relationships and manage each job to ensure client expectations, budgets and deadlines are met.
- Management & development of the audit team through providing thoughtful feedback on jobs, offering coaching and support as necessary and supporting the team with useful, constructive feedback as appropriate.
- Sharing best practice and ideas within the team for process improvement and development of each other.
About you β We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- ACA/ACCA qualified preferred although will consider QBE.
- At least 3 years' experience of working in Audit within an accountancy practice.
- Highly computer literate.
- Up to date with current auditing and accounting issues and conversant with relevant auditing and accounting standards, company law etc.
- Dynamic, adaptable and receptive to embrace and drive positive change.
- Ambitious, results orientated.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail and ability to think laterally to be capable of identifying potential problems and providing solutions.
- Show initiative, exercise judgement and take ownership of tasks from start to finish.
- Collaborative team player.
- Travel is limited but you will need to drive and have your own vehicle.
