We’re looking for a Project/Equipment Engineer to join a leader in cutting-edge PVD and CVD system innovation, based in Scotland. You’ll be joining an agile team at a key stage in its transformation — evolving from a refurbishment business into a global OEM with a cutting-edge product portfolio. This role is central to driving the next generation of tools, shaping the product roadmap, and ensuring engineering excellence across design, development, and delivery. Hands-On Engineering – Lead and contribute to detailed design work across mechanical, electrical, and software domains. Project Management – Coordinate cross-functional teams and oversee product development projects and improvements. Strategic Collaboration – Align engineering direction with global stakeholders and market demands. Documentation & Standards – Maintain high-quality engineering documentation and champion continuous improvement. Strong experience in the semiconductor industry, particularly with PVD/CVD systems. Solid understanding of CAD, mechanical/electrical design, and vacuum/control systems. Comfortable working in lean, agile teams — with ownership, initiative, and adaptability. Relevant engineering degree or equivalent practical qualifications. Lead the engineering charge in a fast-evolving OEM environment with global reach.
