A specialist infrastructure investment manager is seeking a highly motivated Analyst or Associate to join its Asset Management team in London. The firm manages a portfolio of essential mid-market infrastructure businesses across the UK and Europe, with a hands-on and entrepreneurial approach to value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the active management of portfolio companies across sectors such as energy, transport, utilities, and essential services.
- Monitor and drive financial and operational performance of portfolio assets, including budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking.
- Build and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making and performance analysis.
- Prepare investment committee and board materials, including operational updates, performance reviews, and value enhancement initiatives.
- Collaborate with portfolio company management teams to identify and implement operational improvements and growth opportunities.
- Assist in refinancing processes, bolt-on acquisitions, and other corporate development initiatives at the asset level.
Candidate Profile
- 2–7 years of experience in Transaction Services, Valuations, Corporate Finance, or Project Finance within a Big Four accounting firm or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with a solid understanding of financial statements and business drivers.
- Exposure to infrastructure, energy, utilities, or capital-intensive sectors is highly desirable.
- ACA, CFA or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially minded, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a lean, fast-paced environment with a high level of responsibility and autonomy.
