A manufacturing company who specialises in electronic components for high technology products are looking to recruit an experienced Production Manager to lead our manufacturing team ensuring the seamless processing of customer orders. The Production Manager will maintain compliance with ISO quality standards, optimise production processes, and foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience gained within electronics manufacturing. Benefits: Working in a lovely environment based in a rural setting 8.30 – 5.00 Monday to Friday 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Private Healthcare, Money Purchase Pension Scheme and Life Insurance Free onsite parking Duties: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production staff Manage staff onboarding, conduct probation reviews, and oversee performance appraisals. Plan and monitor production schedules to ensure adequate staffing and equipment availability Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments Manage production flow and ensure timely shipping of orders. Operate within the Quality Management System (QMS) Work in partnership with QA on technical and quality-related matters Analyse and present production data using metrics such as OTTP and OTTR Create reports and presentations that inform strategic decisions. Monitor daily output and activity to identify and resolve potential bottlenecks or inefficiencies. Ensure all production activities in time and to quality expectations. Skills & Experience Required: Extensive experience in a similar role within a semiconductor assembly, test, or component packaging environment. Must have experience working within ISO-compliant manufacturing frameworks and quality standards. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across all organisational levels. Candidates should possess relevant qualifications in production or business management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools Must be able to analyse and present complex data effectively. Experience using an MRP or similar software preferable Familiarity with JEDEC standards for IC assembly preferable Experience of wafer fab and semiconductor packaging technologies would be ideal Must be an excellent team leader, being able to lead by example with good communication skills Due to location candidates must have their own transport Candidates who require sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered for this position #tier1
