My client, a leading Investment Bank, are seeking a Senior 1LOD Risk and Controls specialist to help enhance and develop the risk and controls framework that supports the front office Fixed Income team (Trading & Sales). Partnering closely with the Sales & Trading teams, you would be responsible for the front to back oversight from a risk and controls perspective – ensuring that they are operating in compliance with the applicable rules and regulations.

  • Develop and enhance the 1st Line of Defence framework from a procedure, risk and control perspective
  • Partner with the Front Office team and wider support functions to ensure front to back oversight
  • Work with 2nd and 3rd line functions to provide guidance in assessment and management of risks
  • Provide management with control assurance through reporting and governance (RCSA’s, incidents, risk profiles)
  • Deep knowledge of working within a 1st line Risk & Controls function
  • Exposure to working with and supporting a front office environment (Sales & Trading)
