Madison Berkeley is delighted to be partnered with a leading global real estate investment manager who provides a wide range of investment solutions across diverse strategies. We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager who will oversee a portfolio of mixed Commercial (industrial, retail and office) and Living properties with a focus on driving income and capital growth through strategic initiatives such as leasing, refurbishments, lease restructuring, and planning improvements. Strong market knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to deliver value-enhancing opportunities are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities include:
- Initiate and control asset management initiatives including lettings, lease restructuring and improved planning consents.
- Appoint agents/consultants on market terms.
- Complete initiatives which maximise rental income, covenant strength and investment performance.
- Prepare development/refurbishment appraisals and oversee the project management of building works.
- Co-ordinate the rent review programme, select and appoint agents to act on rent reviews and other major Landlord and Tenant work.
- Supervise and liaise with managing agents who are responsible for rent collection arrears, provision of services, assignments, tenant’s works, outgoings, giving instructions and seeking authority as appropriate.
- Prepare quarterly fund statistics for clients and unit holders and provide regular information for the revaluation of properties
Salary up to £80,000 basic plus discretionary bonus and benefits
