We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Engineer to join a leading provider of connectivity for live events, sports, and media production. As a Sales Engineer specialising in broadcast connectivity, you will:

  • Manage local access procurement for connectivity solutions, ensuring optimal capacity for live events and 24/7 broadcast feeds.
  • Collaborate with network service providers to design and implement reliable and high-performance connectivity solutions.
  • Advise on routing strategies to maximize network diversity and minimize jitter, ensuring seamless broadcast delivery.
  • Support other sales engineers by providing technical expertise and negotiating with telecom providers for optimal solutions.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of connectivity solutions tailored to broadcast client needs.

This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile live events and contribute to the delivery of broadcast-quality connectivity solutions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong network engineering skills, with experience in video transport and broadcast environments.
  • A deep understanding of connectivity solutions, including bandwidth requirements, network routing, and video compression technologies.
  • Familiarity with broadcast-specific protocols such as SRT, RIST, and SMPTE 2110.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving in fast-paced live production environments.

Candidates must be based in the UK and the company are open to remote working within the UK with travel to the office in London twice a month.
