Job Title: Non-Contentious Construction Lawyer

Location: London (Hybrid Working Available)

Salary: Top-Tier + Excellent Benefits

Our clients are a premier Legal 500 law firm, consistently ranked in the top tier for Construction.

The team advises on some of the most complex and high-value infrastructure, energy, and development projects in the UK and internationally.

Due to continued growth in demand for our non-contentious work, they are now looking to appoint a driven and commercially astute Non-Contentious Construction Lawyer 2-7 PQE to join their London office.

The Role

You will be involved in high-profile projects across sectors including transport, energy (renewables and traditional), real estate development, and social infrastructure. The role offers exposure to a wide variety of clients including developers, funders, contractors, and public bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and negotiating construction contracts including JCT, NEC, FIDIC and bespoke agreements
  • Advising clients on procurement strategies, project risk management and contract structuring
  • Supporting major development and infrastructure projects from inception to completion
  • Working closely with transactional teams across real estate, projects, and finance
  • Involvement in client relationship management and business development initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2–6 years’ PQE with a focus on non-contentious construction
  • Excellent working knowledge of standard form construction contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC)
  • Experience advising on large-scale developments or infrastructure projects
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and client communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in the construction sector
