A Portfolio Manager position has become available with an established property company based in Essex. The role is hybrid, with a high level of remote working flexibility.
Salary - £60,000 - £70,000 plus package (subject to experience)
We are seeking a dynamic property Portfolio Manager, to oversee the day-to-day management of varied assets within a diverse portfolio. The role demands a flexible, numerate and detail-oriented professional with proven all encompassing commercial property management experience.
Responsibilities:- Responsible for the management of the property portfolio whether managed in-house or by external Managing Agents.
- Undertake periodic property inspections and forge productive working relationships with occupiers.
- Proactively manage in-house properties, in an efficient and cost-effective manner ensuring lease events and tenant applications are executed and completed on time.
- Ensure opportunities to unlock value and generate growth are identified and progressed across the portfolio.
- Oversee external advisors and consultants in connection with progressing lease events and other outsourced portfolio matters.
- Direct and oversee external Managing Agents to ensure their properties are managed in an efficient and cost-effective manner to the required contract performance standards, in terms of credit control, service charge reconciliations, health and safety compliance and KPIs in general.
- Maintain and oversee appropriate and accurate records and databases, and any associated software packages across the portfolio.
- Play a central role in ensuring the accuracy of the data and documents held within the organisation’s central portal and library.
- Good understanding of commercial property management processes including Landlord & Tenant, Health & Safety and other applicable legislation.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines.
- Proficiency in property management software packages and MS Office Suite.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- MRICS (desirable).
