Are you confident managing payroll and reward functions with a hands-on approach? Do you thrive on supporting colleagues while improving systems and processes? We’re looking for a Pay & Reward Manager to join our People Services team at Making Space, based in Warrington. This is a permanent, full-time role offering flexibility to work remotely for most of the week.
You’ll lead our Pay & Reward function, ensuring smooth delivery of payroll, pensions, and employee rewards. You'll also be responsible for managing our HR and payroll system (iTrent), offering system support to colleagues, and producing key management information reports.
You will manage two team members:
- Pay & Reward Co-ordinator
- Systems & Data Co-ordinator

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly payroll and pensions processes
- Maintain and improve the iTrent HR/payroll system
- Support and train system users across the organisation
- Produce and analyse people-related data and reports
- Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes

The Person:
- CIPP Diploma in Payroll Management or equivalent
- Strong payroll and pensions knowledge
- Experienced in producing payroll reports
- Previous leadership experience in a payroll role
- Proficient in iTrent or similar HR/payroll systems
- Organised, proactive, and willing to support others
- Comfortable working independently and making improvements
