Attendance Allowance Services (AAS) is dedicated to helping pensioners access the benefits they need to live with dignity and enhanced financial security. We specialise in supporting UK pensioners with their attendance allowance application process end to end, ensuring an evidence and clinical based approach is applied throughout our process. Our fee-based service offers our clients eligibility assessments, comprehensive virtual needs analysis, and completion of the DWP's Attendance Allowance application. We operate on a contingency fee basis, ensuring no fees are charged if the application is unsuccessful.

This is an associate based role for a senior Occupational Therapist requiring a commitment of a minimum of 2 days over a 7 day week, working from home and located in the UK. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for conducting detailed telephone/virtual evaluations of clients’ medical conditions, functional limitations and mapping these onto their care requirements within the client's home. The role involves remote interaction with elderly clients, assessing and documenting their care needs, and ensuring adherence to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) criteria for Attendance Allowance applications. Qualifications

  • Strong clinical skills in Occupational Therapy, elderly/frailty care and rehabilitation.
  • Effective communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
  • Experience in elderly care is essential.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • High attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a geographically spread team.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Valid registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
