This senior role sits at group level, overseeing sustainability strategy and environmental compliance across their diverse project portfolio.
Responsibilities for the Group Environment and Sustainability Manager include:
- Lead the environment and sustainability strategy across the businesses divisions.
- Overseeing ISO 14001 audits to ensure environmental compliance whilst liaising with regulatory bodies such as the Environment Agency.
- Overseeing ESOS and SECR reporting, ensuring to meet sustainability KPI's.
- Formally represent the company at industry events.
A Successful Group Environment and Sustainability Manager candidate will have:
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 14001 and environmental compliance within the construction industry or a related sector.
- Previous experience with BREEAM, LEED and WELL frameworks is desirable, but training opportunities are provided.
- A degree in a related environment or sustainability field and a member of a certification board such as IEMA or ICRS.
- Good vocational skills and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across a portfolio of different projects.
