We’re working with a highly respected, well-established company based in the West Midlands that’s looking for an Assistant Product Manager to join their dynamic Product & Marketing team. What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years’ experience in the lighting industry, with a focus on lighting scheme design.
  • Solid understanding of lighting applications, including technical performance and design principles.
  • Familiarity with British Standards and industry guidelines for lighting (both in practical and technical contexts).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the development of sales and marketing tools that highlight product USPs and value propositions.
  • Creating and maintaining FAB sheets for new product launches.
  • Collaborating with the Marketing Director and Product Managers on briefs and business cases for new ranges or special product designs.
  • Conducting market research and gathering customer feedback to inform product development.
  • Assisting with pricing strategy, including cost structure analysis and competitor benchmarking.
  • Managing product data in the Product Information Management (PIM) system - ensuring accuracy and alignment across departments.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to support product launches and ongoing updates.
