A leading food manufacturer known for their commitment to delivering high standards in quality and customers service have an opportunity available for a Quality Systems Manager.
This is a pivotal role, ensuring compliance with all internal and external standards and driving continuous improvement across their systems and processes.
Your key Responsibilities will include:
Compliance Management
Effectively manage the BRC system to ensure internal and external compliance.
Achieve and maintain all required accreditations
Lead internal audits and ensure compliance with HACCP protocols.
Document and Process Control
Maintain and update key documentation, ensuring procedures meet required standards.
Issue corrective actions and conduct root cause analyses.
Oversee the cleaning schedule to maintain high hygiene standards.
Health and Safety
Manage the Health and Safety system and deliver training to ensure compliance.
Conduct risk assessments (general, manual handling, fire, etc.).
Promote a culture of safety across all departments.
Auditing and Customer Interaction
Act as the primary contact for auditors and customer representatives.
Monitor and enforce customer GMPs, BRC standards, and other quality programs.
Support the leadership team in developing and maintaining quality management systems.
Team Development and Continuous Improvement
Train and support staff to maximize development and efficiency.
Drive a culture of continual improvement and champion enhanced efficiencies in systems processes.
Food production experience is needed, plus knowledge of HACCP and exposure to BRC and retailers systems would be advantageous.
Confident communication skills are vital for this role in order to liaise with members of staff, customers and third parties.
The position will suit a forward thinking and affable individual who works well in a team and with a keen passion for delivering and with good organisational skills.
This is 12 month Fixed Term Contract role.
