The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
Job Purpose: Responsible for the control of accounts receivables ledgers across offices, to maximise cash flow and profit, reduce the risk of bad debt and ensure that accounts are properly maintained.
Job Duties:
- Collect cash by telephone and written contact with clients.
- Responsible for ensuring the minimisation of risk to clients from credit exposure.
- Work with the Head Credit Controller to resolve queries and maximise collections for internal and external clients.
- Undertake Receivables work including review of sales ledgers, debt verifications, credit management etc.
- Ensure awareness of and compliance with all requirements.
- Ensure performance operates in accordance with existing SLA’s.
- Ensure reporting is accurate and on time to Clients and initial feedback times are adhered to.
- Work with other credit controllers to form an efficient, cohesive team.
- Collate weekly summaries of collections for review in wealth charts.
- Provide feedback to the funder within 7 days of take on of a ledger to manage expectations.
- At monthly Client review meetings, provide progress updates, amount invested, and amount still to collect with an update on the strategy.
What we are looking for:
- Significant credit control experience, supported by references.
- Knowledge of accounting systems would be preferable.
- Strong knowledge of Excel.
- Ability to support own team and develop knowledge within the team.
- Build and sustain relationships with clients and introducers.
- Ensure client needs and financial targets are fully met.
- Develop a network, generate and convert opportunities from existing and/or new clients.
- Take personal responsibility for delivering excellence in both client projects and internal operations.
- Ensure individuals and teams have the skills to deliver the vision.
- Work with the team to achieve goals, prioritising team interests while demonstrating integrity and professionalism.
- Willingness to study for professional qualifications related to the role.
