We have an outstanding opportunity in our Penrith office to join our Private Client and Farm & Estate division as a Partner managing your own book of business.

You will have seen this a lot on job adverts, but our salary really is competitive. We haven’t put a figure here, because it will be based on the skills and experience you bring. Benefits include 25 days’ annual leave, increasing by 1 day for each full year served (to a maximum of 28 days), enhanced maternity and paternity leave, income protection, life assurance, and pension.
You will join a team that looks after an extensive portfolio of high-net-worth clients and estate owners in and around the Penrith area. The office is firmly established, providing an excellent opportunity to build your book and advance your career.
You will enjoy an idyllic office setting and will have the flexibility to work from home 1 day per week.
What Your Day Will Look Like
- Providing exceptional insurance and service to clients and liaising with insurers.
- Identify, seek out and close new business in accordance with the business’ ideal client profile.
- Processing risks on WH’s systems, preparing and checking policy documentation, inviting renewals.
- Producing invoices and assisting with the collection of premiums.
- Liaising with insurers, surveyors, loss adjustors and the like on all relevant issues.
- Assisting other team members in seeking resolution to client queries.
- Acting at all times in a compliant manner and in accordance with WH’s procedures.
- Cooperating with WH Partners and staff in all its offices in a friendly, positive and cooperative manner.
What You Will Bring
- A wealth of insurance sector knowledge having managed your own portfolio of clients.
- Exposure to high-net-worth clients and Farm and Estate insurance.
- An excellent understanding of the broker environment and broker relationships.
- An ability to gain maximum benefit from good negotiation skills with the ability to work accurately and consistently.
- Excellent communication skills.
- An ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Awareness and understanding of compliance rules along with knowledge of FCA regulation and how to comply with it.
