Job Description
TPF Recruitment is excited to represent a renowned mid-tier firm of Chartered Accountants based in the vibrant city of Reading. We are currently looking for a skilled Audit Manager to join their successful Audit & Assurance team.

As the Audit Manager, you will be key in advancing the firm\’s audit services. We seek a seasoned audit professional with managerial experience and a passion for excellence in audit services. In this role, you will significantly influence the future growth of our client\’s service line and the overall firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a diverse client portfolio with meticulous planning and execution.
  2. Provide thorough briefings to staff on client-specific details, ensuring adherence to auditing standards and deadlines.
  3. Lead advisory engagements, showcasing your expanding role within the firm\’s dynamic environment.
  4. Ensure compliance with procedural standards, including client cost estimations and billing arrangements.
  5. Maintain the highest audit quality, participating in both internal and external quality assurance activities.
  6. Complete assignments within budgetary limits, addressing significant issues promptly with partners and clients.
  7. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service in all interactions.
  8. Collaborate across departments to meet client needs, utilizing the firm\’s specialized services when necessary.
  9. Stay informed on technical and industry developments through continuous professional development.
  10. Identify new business opportunities, craft proposals, and participate in client presentations.
  11. Mentor and guide students and seniors within the team.

Requirements:

  1. ACA or ACCA qualification is essential.
  2. Proven managerial experience in a similar role.
  3. Ability to manage client portfolios and build long-term client relationships.
  4. Extensive experience in delivering high-quality audits.
  5. Experience in the SME sector is beneficial.
  6. Enthusiasm for business development activities is highly valued.
