Senior Category Manager

We are working with a disruptive personal care brand who have already been named as one of Europe’s fastest-growing start-ups.
They are currently looking for an ambitious Lead Category Manager to join the team, where you’d be responsible for leading and developing their product category strategy, driving retailer growth, and increasing visibility in stores to establish them as the leading personal care brand. (This role will quickly shift to Lead Category Manager after passing probation, which presents a huge opportunity to lead the entire function.)
Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including buyers, merchandisers, and category planner to become a trusted partner
- Develop a deep understanding of the category and its trends
- Use data and insights to optimize product placement and marketing strategies
- Conduct consumer research to identify opportunities and challenges
- Analyze data to track performance and make informed decisions
What we need:
- Minimum of 4 years experience in retail
- Previous experience leading category management function
- Proven track record in leading range reviews and working with major retailers (e.g Boots, Sainsburys, Tesco)
- Strong data analysis skills, working with complex epos data and drawing insights
