Opportunity to join a leading global business as Sales Director for the UK. This is a Senior Executive board position reporting directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for further growth and development of the business across all divisions.
The company specialise in global logistics by sea, air and road and are also a leading player in Supply Chain Management and Logistics Contract Management for a range of diversified blue chip businesses including manufacturing, retail and Hi-Tech.
Well established as a leader in their field, they are now seeking to embark on the next phase of their growth and the Sales Director will spearhead this development and play a fundamental part in the ongoing success of the group worldwide.
To apply for this exciting role, it is imperative that you have experience in a similar field gained within a large International Logistics Integrator or similar global Freight business. You should have extensive experience in Sales from a βhands onβ perspective and be able to lead, manage and motivate a team of commercial professionals whilst working closely with operations and financial control.
Ideally you will have knowledge of all modes of transport and experience in the retail / FMCG sector and e-commerce will be highly desirable.
