They are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our expert team as we continue scaling and innovating.

The Opportunity

What You’ll Be Doing

• Maintain and support critical infrastructure, including both on-prem and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, and implement fixes across Linux, Windows, networking, and firewall layers
• Lead on securing systems in compliance with PCI DSS, ISO27001, and other industry standards
• Support and manage virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Perform regular system checks and backups, ensuring robust disaster recovery procedures are in place
• Liaise with 3rd party vendors and ensure services meet required SLAs
• Collaborate with and mentor team members across both our UK and Sri Lanka offices
• Travel quarterly to regional data centres (Nottingham, Derby, and Welwyn)

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years’ experience in L2/L3 Infrastructure Support or Systems Engineering
• Strong experience with Linux and AWS, plus good exposure to Microsoft technologies
• Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, and cloud security infrastructure
• Experience working in a payments or retail infrastructure environment (PCI DSS knowledge is a big plus)
• Strong documentation habits and excellent communication skills
• AWS/Linux certifications highly desirable
