They are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our expert team as we continue scaling and innovating.
The Opportunity: We’re looking for someone who brings technical depth, can mentor others, and stays calm and collaborative under pressure. If you’re a multi-hat-wearing infrastructure pro who can hit the ground running, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Maintain and support critical infrastructure, including both on-prem and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, and implement fixes across Linux, Windows, networking, and firewall layers
- Lead on securing systems in compliance with PCI DSS, ISO27001, and other industry standards
- Support and manage virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Perform regular system checks and backups, ensuring robust disaster recovery procedures are in place
- Liaise with 3rd party vendors and ensure services meet required SLAs
- Collaborate with and mentor team members across both our UK and Sri Lanka offices
- Travel quarterly to regional data centres (Nottingham, Derby, and Welwyn)
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years’ experience in L2/L3 Infrastructure Support or Systems Engineering
- Strong experience with Linux and AWS, plus good exposure to Microsoft technologies
- Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, and cloud security infrastructure
- Experience working in a payments or retail infrastructure environment (PCI DSS knowledge is a big plus)
- Strong documentation habits and excellent communication skills
- AWS/Linux certifications highly desirable
