For Companies Allerton Bishop Search is currently searching for a Global Supply Chain Manager for a biotechnology company with a global presence. The Global Supply Chain Manager will be based in England and will take responsibility for end to end supply chain activities across a global network.
Your responsibilities as the Global Supply Chain Manager will be:
- Supply and Demand Planning for commercial and clinical products.
- Manage contract manufacturing partners to deliver both drug substance and product.
- Work closely with cross functional teams to build mid and long term forecasting for global operations.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels for all global programs while managing risk across the supply chain to mitigate disruptions.
- As the Global Supply Chain Manager, you will ensure robust cold chain logistics and compliance with GDP requirements.
Required Work Experience and Qualifications:
- Degree educated is preferred
- Pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience is essential
- Proven supply chain experience in a global or regional supply network.
- Previous work experience in external supply is highly desirable.
