Fanvue is the fastest-growing creator monetisation platform in the creator economy. We are the leading AI-powered creator-first platform, designed to empower creators worldwide to directly monetise their audience. Our platform supports creators with the tools they need to connect and monetise their audience in a scalable way.

We’re looking for an AI Developer Tooling Engineer focused on AI workflows that empower the development team and beyond. You will own and evolve the suite of internal AI development tools that power Fanvue, working closely with the engineering team to raise developer productivity and ship features faster.

What You'll Do:

  • Design & build AI dev tooling – Create and maintain AI-centric developer tools, scripts, and workflows that streamline local and cloud development across the company.
  • Integrate intelligent coding agents – Help other teammates leverage Cursor and/or Claude Code to accelerate day-to-day development; benchmark Aider, Cline, and GitHub Copilot whenever new features come out to see where they can add value.
  • Operate MCP servers – Support the team in integrating Context 7, Puppeteer, MCP Compass and other MCP servers to optimise prompt routing and execution. Proactively assess emerging MCP servers and roll them out across the engineering organisation.
  • Establish prompting best practices – Craft, document, and evangelise effective prompt patterns for a broad spectrum of engineering and product tasks.
  • Author AI-ready documentation – Structure Markdown knowledge bases so that LLMs can ingest and answer questions on them reliably.

Who You Are:

  • Must-haves
  • Software engineering background with TypeScript in production environments.
  • Hands-on expertise with AI coding agents: Cursor and Claude Code.
  • Familiarity with AI dev tools such as CodeRabbit.
  • Proven administration of Context 7, Puppeteer, and MCP Compass (or comparable) servers.
  • Practical knowledge of Next.js and modern front-end tooling.
  • Practical knowledge of Express.
  • Deep understanding of core LLM concepts such as RAG pipelines, vector embeddings, fine-tuning methodologies, tokenization, and latency/throughput trade-offs.
  • An understanding of the LLM model landscape and the strengths and weaknesses of the major models.
  • Strong Git/GitHub workflow knowledge (PR review, CI/CD, trunk-based development).
  • Demonstrable prompting mastery across diverse technical and creative domains.
  • Solid grasp of secure coding practices: secrets management, least-privilege principles.
  • Comfortable with local development environments – from installing dependencies and running local web servers to profiling performance and managing containerised stacks.
  • Nice-to-haves
    • Experience building a project with AI using some of the skills outlined above.
    • Experience with n8n.
    • Experience with additional AI agents (Aider, Cline, GitHub Copilot).

    Why Join Fanvue?

    • Competitive salary and benefits package
    • Work with a talented, mission-driven team dedicated to empowering creators worldwide
    • A culture that values innovation, ownership, transparency, and speed
    • Unlimited holiday
    • Remote working
    • Flexible hours, according to the times you perform best
    • Budget for growth and wellbeing
