We are looking for an experienced Programme Planner to join a global transformation programme on a contract basis. This is a strategic role at the heart of a complex, multinational change initiative—coordinating multiple workstreams, managing dependencies, and helping deliver meaningful change in a dynamic business environment.
Location: Remote UK
Contract Length: 3 months
Start Date: Immediate
Day Rate: £400-£425 per day (Outside IR35)
Key Responsibilities- Integrated Programme Planning
- Build and maintain detailed, integrated plans across a portfolio of complex work packages.
- Align plans with overall programme goals and timelines.
- Manage cross-project dependencies and proactively address risks and constraints.
- Collaborate with Work Package Leads to ensure plans are accurate, current, and actionable.
- Produce and maintain high-level dashboards, including "Programme on a Page" views for key meetings.
- Use planning tools including Monday.com, MS Excel, and PowerPoint with confidence.
- Resource Management
- Create and maintain a central resource plan to manage supply and demand across the programme.
- Coordinate resource allocation from multiple departments and initiatives.
- Deliver clear, visual resource tracking outputs for leadership discussions.
- Stakeholder Management & Governance
- Regularly report on planning progress, risks, issues, and resource health to senior stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain effective ways of working across the programme for RAID and plan updates.
- Continuously improve planning and reporting mechanisms.
- RAID Management
- Lead on the creation and upkeep of the programme RAID log and supporting visuals for governance forums.

- Essential:
- Strong background in programme planning and project management across global/multinational environments.
- Proven experience delivering integrated plans across multi-project portfolios.
- Excellent understanding of project management methodologies (PMP/PRINCE2).
- Familiarity with hybrid delivery models (Agile/Waterfall).
- Confident user of Monday.com or similar planning tools.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
- Desirable:
- Experience in digital transformation programmes.
- Exposure to change management best practices.
