Company Overview:

Our client, a boutique trading firm with offices locations across London, New York and Hong Kong, is looking for a Quantitative Trader to join their dynamic, ambitious team.

Position Overview:

As a Quantitative trader, will be responsible for executing and managing trades across asset classes such as Fx, Commodities, ETFs, Options and Futures. You have the ability to inherit up to $130M USD in capital, with access to a back office quant development and research team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute Delta One products (equity swaps, CFDs, ETFs) for institutional clients.
  • Maintain and grow client relationships, providing tailored trading solutions.
  • Analyse market trends to offer insights and trading strategies.
  • Manage risk and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Operate independently from buy-side traders and sales teams.

Key Requirements:

  • Phd/ Degree in related field e.g. mathematics, physics, computer science
  • 3-8 years experience managing a fund/ trading account, with a sharp ratio of 2.0 or above
  • Proven ability to manage risk effectively
  • Exceptional soft skills e.g. communication and collaboration
