JT Recruit is seeking a dedicated General Warehouse Operative with FLT (Forklift Truck) skills to join our team in Newark. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to secure a permanent position after a successful 12-week temporary period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating forklift trucks to move and organise stock within the warehouse.
- Loading and unloading deliveries.
- Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and organised.
- Assisting with inventory management and stock control.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Support the Department Team Leader / Supervisor by checking and updating information on incoming / outgoing goods from storage and production.
- Contribute towards continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- FLT drivers experience.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including pushing heavy barrows and loading/unloading deliveries.
