Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Client Manager B2B Business Development to join our growing clients Electrical Services Division, focused on driving new business in the commercial and industrial sectors.
This business specialises in electrical call-out services, including inspections, testing, commissioning, and ongoing electrical maintenance. Youll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, opening doors, and winning work across a broad range of commercial buildings and facilities.
The role is 90% new business focused to start, with strong support from a technical manager who will assist with quoting and service delivery. Over time, as your client base grows, the role will transition into a more client/account management position, where youll be expected to nurture relationships, cross-sell services, and maximise account value all while continuing to generate new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and secure new B2B opportunities across commercial and industrial sectors
- Promote core electrical services including call-outs, inspections, testing, and commissioning.
- Research and qualify prospects using social media, B2B platforms, Salesforce, and direct outreach.
- Book and attend meetings and site visits throughout the North West region.
- Work closely with technical leads to prepare tailored proposals and quotations.
- Transition into account management as clients onboard, providing consistent service and support.
- Cross-sell additional services and solutions to existing clients.
- Track sales activity and provide regular performance updates to the Contracts Manager.
Requirements
- 23+ years of experience in B2B business development or sales.
- Confident in generating leads, securing meetings, and converting opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Experience selling electrical services or within the M&E industry is ideal, but not essential full training and support will be provided.
