Job Overview: Our client is looking for an experienced and talented Business Development Manager to join the sales team. They are a leading player in the renewable energy and commercial solar industry. Your role will be to generate a database of potential clients and sell them solar products. This includes scheduling meetings, understanding their needs, presenting solutions, and closing deals. You'll report progress, work with senior management and the design team on project feasibility, and maintain strong client relationships throughout the entire process, from initial contact to successful installation. All activities will be tracked in HubSpot CRM for clear communication.
Responsibilities:
- Find potential solar/VO clients through research and outreach (networking, social media, etc.).
- Generate your own leads.
- Meet with clients (on-site or Zoom) to understand their needs.
- Stay updated on solar/VO industry news.
- Meet and exceed sales targets for activity and conversion rates.
- Build strong relationships with clients and industry contacts.
- Monitor industry trends and competitors.
Requirements & Skills:
- Must have experience as a Business Development Manager.
- Must have experience in the commercial solar PV industry.
- Must know about Solar PV, VO, and PPA.
- Familiarity with Hubspot CRM is a plus.
