Role Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity for someone with great commercial acumen to join one of the fastest ecommerce Beauty platforms in the UK. We are looking for an energetic individual, with good knowledge of the market and outstanding attention to detail, with drive and a genuine interest in pricing and analysis.
This role is suitable for someone who wants to work in a fast paced & ever-changing Buying Team, where you will gain greater exposure and responsibility. You will need to be extremely organised, have an eye for detail and be able to handle the pressure of an evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for running various competitor price comparison reports daily across several regions.
- Responsible for tracking and analysing the comparison data and working with closely with Buying & Merchandising, suggest changes to optimise conversion and margin.
- Responsible for making the pricing changes on the system and following the process through until live on site, ensuring all regions are checked thoroughly.
- Responsible for analysing the changes made to ensure they are having the best impact.
- Work with internal Data & Insights Analyst to implement price elasticity process, sourcing and working with third parties where necessary.
Skills/Experience/Knowledge Needed:
- Excellent commercial awareness with strong analytical & numerical skill set.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience within a Pricing role/team is highly advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proven track record of managing KPIs and margin effectively.
- Can communicate and work well with a wide range of people, and be able to negotiate, influence and where necessary, compromise to achieve the right results.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills both written & verbal.
