ROLE:
- Advise on complex public procurement matters under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015 and the new Procurement Act 2023.
- Support clients on UK subsidy control and EU State aid law.
- Deliver strategic legal advice across a mix of advisory and contentious work.
- Collaborate with an international team of competition, trade and regulatory experts.
- Contribute to the development of new legal solutions and innovative delivery models.
- Play an active role in legal reform projects and business development.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years PQE with experience in public procurement, regulatory or public law.
- Familiarity with relevant procurement legislation or strong motivation to build expertise.
- Ability to advise confidently in complex or evolving areas of law with a commercial lens.
- Strong legal research and drafting skills combined with sound judgement.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset with a client service focus.
