Pertemps is urgently recruiting on behalf of a valued client for an experienced Lettings Assistant to join their busy and dynamic property team in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid background in lettings or property management, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and coordinating property maintenance issues
- Processing rent increases and chasing rent arrears
- Reviewing and actioning property inspection reports
- Sourcing and liaising with new contractors
- Managing and tracking keys for contractor use
- Handling deposit refunds and dispute resolution
- Preparing and issuing tenancy notices, including Section 21
- Responding to phone calls and general tenant/landlord enquiries
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in lettings or property management
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with efficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in relevant property management systems is advantageous
