This is a rare opportunity to define and deliver a 3–5-year people strategy that directly supports organisational growth, culture, and performance.
Sitting on the Executive Team and Remuneration Committee, you’ll act as a trusted strategic advisor to the Board and senior leadership, guiding a high-performing People function recently restructured into an HRBP model.
Role: Chief People Officer - AKA HR Director, People Director, Director of People and Culture
Location: London / Mayfair near Green Park - 2 Days in the office
Salary: Competitive / Market - New role
What you’ll be doing:
- Design and deliver a long-term People & Culture strategy aligned with organisational goals
- Lead executive development and drive a high-performance culture
- Shape talent management, learning, and DEI strategies at scale
- Oversee complex organisational change, employee relations, and cultural transformation
- Translate strategy into action through engaging projects, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration
- Own all aspects of reward, recognition, workforce planning, and employee engagement
- Lead and empower a skilled HR team, building business partner capability and impact
About you:
- Extensive HR leadership experience at executive or board level
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of influencing organisational growth
- Deep knowledge of the HR Business Partner model
- Skilled in change leadership, performance management, and complex employee relations
- CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent), ideally with coaching qualifications
- Proven ability to embed DEI, engagement, and talent strategies with measurable results
