VPS has extensive experience in developing and managing training solutions in the Aerospace, Automotive and Financial Services Industries.
As a member of our young, dynamic Training Development team located in Bracknell, UK, you will design and develop informal and formal learning solutions for a global automotive brand using a variety of methods whilst applying VPS processes and quality standards. This particular position is focused on “Sales and Non-technical” training content development in the automotive sector. You will project manage, create and develop web-based and face-to-face training material following and implementing the Brand’s vision for the future! This is an exciting opportunity to benefit from your experience in the Automotive or similar industry (previous experience is preferable but not essential).
As a Training Content Developer your key tasks are:
- Design and Development of instructional material in the “Sales and non-technical” training area applying VPS processes and quality standards
- Identify appropriate learning approaches and apply learning theory
- Analyse, select and integrate appropriate learning technologies
- Design and develop training solutions using authoring tools and new learning technologies (previous “Authoring Tool” experience is expected)
- Design, organise and deliver Train-the-Trainer sessions (some international travel – less than 20%)
- Collaborate with subject matters experts, curriculum and account managers internally as well as with customers and vendors
- Incorporate feedback and needs to support further development of existing and new curricula as well as their adaptation to changed requirements
- Project management of individual training development projects applying established project controlling tools
- Status reporting to Development team leader
Core Competencies:
- First-hand experience in Automotive (or similar) environment; designing and developing training material and project managing through to deployment
- Solid knowledge of MS Office applications; knowledge of Articulate, InDesign, Captivate, Lectora or similar tools is expected
- Video production experience a benefit
- Strong problem solving and organisational skills
- Creativity and cooperation skills in a young and dynamic team
- Fluency in spoken and written business English
