Currently offering full-time night shifts (35 hours per week). Night shifts are from 9.45pm to 7.45am. You would be required to work every other weekend.

The role of a Support Worker is more than just a job; you will make a real difference in individuals’ everyday lives.
At Ivy Care, you will assist people living with mental health needs and physical disabilities to live more independently and support them to reach their potential by providing both physical and emotional support.
We’re looking for individuals committed to developing their professional skills, supported by training opportunities including safeguarding, communication, and the ability to complete the Care Certificate and an NVQ in Adult Care.

Ivy Care has been providing a network of specialist learning disabilities and complex needs services for over 20 years.
What we are looking for in candidates:
- Full flexibility to work weekends depending on shift pattern
- Kind, caring individuals who take pride in their work
- Enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and reliability
- Willingness to learn and undertake necessary training
- Understanding of Autism, anxiety, and challenging behaviors, or willingness to learn
- Ability to work as part of a dedicated team in supported living services for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs
As a Residential Nights Support Worker, your responsibilities include:
- Supporting adults with complex needs to create positive outcomes and promote independence
- Engaging in activities, cooking, personal care, and community involvement
- Providing practical assistance and emotional support to help individuals achieve their goals
- Planning, implementing, and delivering support plans
- Maintaining a clean and tidy home environment
- Collaborating with other agencies
- Completing records and documents to regulatory standards
Due to the nature of work with vulnerable adults, this role requires an enhanced DBS check.
