Salary: £12.75 per hour

Contract: Permanent, offering a minimum of 25 hours per week

About You:

Are you passionate about food and ready to bring your energy to our kitchen? Whether

you\’re experienced in the culinary world or just getting started, we want you! As a

Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our

kitchen, working closely with the head chef and the team to prepare dishes that our

guests will love.

What You Will Bring:

● Support the kitchen team by preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and

ensuring that all kitchen equipment is in proper working order.

● Assist the chefs with various tasks, from food preparation to plate presentation,

while ensuring the highest quality standards.

● Help maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen by organising your workspace and

contributing to the overall teamwork atmosphere.

Guest Experience:

● Understand that the food we prepare is central to our guest experience and

contribute to making each meal special.

● Assist in the presentation of dishes to ensure they are not only delicious but also

visually appealing.

Attention to Detail and Cleanliness:

● Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring that every dish is

prepared in a clean and safe environment.

● Take responsibility for washing and cleaning kitchen utensils, equipment, and

ensuring that the kitchen is always spotless.

Quality Control:

● Work alongside the kitchen team to ensure that all dishes meet our high

standards for quality, taste, and presentation.

● Assist in managing inventory, checking the freshness of ingredients, and

ensuring that only the best quality produce is used in our meals.

Team Player:

● Be prepared to assist with opening and closing tasks, including setting up the

kitchen and ensuring everything is ready for service.

● Embrace opportunities to learn and develop your skills, while having fun and

contributing to a positive team atmosphere.

Hi, we’re Chris and Stephen, brothers and founders of The Coffee House. We had a life-long dream of opening a chain of premium coffee shops, that will serve the most delicious food and drink. Our passion is to create a unique store environment for our customers that will evolve the way people EAT, DRINK and RELAX in their local community.

Our adventure began when we took the plunge in 2010 to open our first store in our home village of Lymm. In the space of ten years we have rapidly grown from one store to seven, with three more due to open in Runcorn, Warrington and Bellevale by mid 2021.

Our coffee blend is the heart of our business and is sourced from a local Roastery, this ensures that fresh tasting coffee is served by our trained baristas each and every day and what also makes us different from the larger chains is our ability to make our delicious products in our Central Production Unit using ingredients that are specially selected from local and other independent businesses.

We are a forward thinking company and pride ourselves on creating new and innovative ways of working. Being a fast paced, independent chain of coffee shops enables us to create a culture where each member of staff feels a part of The Coffee House family. We have always said ‘what we do, we will aim to do well\’, with amazing products, served in modern, cosy settings by passionate teams, to each and every customer, it\’s exciting to see what the future holds and we look forward to working with many more valuable stakeholders to make great things happen.
