Job Description:

We are looking for a hardworking Night Porter to join our team at the Genting Hotel, working 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities and duties include:

• Ensure guest needs are anticipated and requests followed up.
• Build rapport with guests to encourage repeat visits.
• Check guests in and out, ensuring invoice accuracy.
• Maintain good communication with all hotel departments.
• Handle, follow up, and communicate guest comments or complaints to management.
• Promote hotel facilities and local attractions.
• Assist guests with requests such as information, bookings, and directions.
• Complete tasks each shift and ensure thorough handovers.
• Address issues arising during the night shift.
• Handle refunds and adjustments paperwork when necessary.
• Take and deliver room service orders to standard.
• Perform security checks and floor walks regularly.

Skills and experience required:

• Friendly and welcoming demeanor.
• High standards of dress and presentation.
• Ability to remain calm in difficult situations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including a pleasant telephone manner.
• Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays, and night shifts.
