I am currently recruiting for a market leading brand based in Hertfordshire to recruit a Senior Technical Finance Manager. Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the Senior Technical Finance Manager will sit within the Group Reporting team and be an integral member of the wider Group Financial Control team to ensure the business complies with all technical accounting & reporting requirements. *Please note, this is a hybrid role with 2-3 days a week required in the office. You will: Be the point of contact for all technical questions & accounting queries Manage the implementation of new accounting standards ensuring impact analysis and communication with senior stakeholders Prepare and present papers on technical accounting matters Be involved in key projects to understand and communicate any potential accounting implications Oversee the monthly and statutory reporting Assist in the preparation of the year end and half year review Other Group reporting activities as directed You have: Professional qualification in Finance ACCA, ACA or other applicable discipline. Post qualification experience of 5+ years Significant exposure to IFRS statutory reporting and working with external reporting bodies Experience of working in large FTSE, international organisation(s) Strong written and verbal communication – an ability to prepare accounting papers, policies and standards A track record of influencing and building strong relationships, with the ability to communicate and challenge key stakeholders at all levels in the organisation Experience of change management and implementation of new processes *Please note, this is a hybrid role with 2-3 days a week required in the office.
