Our client, a prominent growing accountancy firm with a number of practices across England, is looking to hire a Payroll Specialist for their Northampton team. This is a full time role working on a hybrid basis. You can expect to work for a firm that will offer flexibility around your hours, full professional support, a positive workplace culture and on the job mentorship.

  • Provide payroll services to a portfolio of the firm's clients
  • Process payrolls on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly basis (or as directed)
  • Process starters and leavers, calculating statutory payments, RTI submissions, pension deductions etc.
  • Setting up PAYE schemes with HMRC and cease schemes when needed
  • Act as primary contact with HMRC for all PAYE related matters
  • Calculating auto enrolment pension deductions and uploading pension contributions
  • Liaise directly with clients to ensure accuracy of payroll data and answer queries

You will have worked in a payroll team with similar responsibilities to those listed above. You will have strong IT skills and be able to pick up new software packages very quickly.
