About the role
The Care Worker will live with the Service User in their own home across the UK, from 2 weeks to long-term placements. The typical hours are approximately 10 to 12 hours per day, with a 2-hour break for personal time. Weekly regular breaks are also provided.
As this is 24/7 live-in care, we are unable to offer part-time hours or sponsorship support. The role involves supporting individuals to live as independently as possible, including personal care, meal preparation, medication prompts, and social support.
We currently have vacancies for a care worker to provide live-in care for a gentleman in his 40s, living in the Powys area. He has MS, is a wheelchair user, and requires double-up care from care workers. The goal is to promote the gentleman's independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering high-quality care.
