Our client is a leading local authority contractor and provider of social housing planned and responsive maintenance services . They are currently seeking a Responsive Repairs Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The role will be to ensure the Repairs contract delivers a high quality customer and health and safety focussed service taking responsibility for the day to day management of the operation including 24-hour emergency service, 365 days a year. £47,000 per annum plus £3000 car allowance. Key Responsibilities will include: Reporting to the Operations Manager you will ensure a high quality service is provided with the management of the work scheduling in accordance with company procedures and standards. -Manage the responsive repairs function to ensure consistent performance against targets. -Effective and efficient management of material costs and ensure that all are following correct processes and procedures. -Monitor quality of work through inspection and key performance indicators. -Lead, manage and contribute to the development of your team and ensure operative levels are in place to provide a quality and efficient service. -Evaluate operational practices with due regard to risk, statutory requirements and best practice to help improve delivery to help drive continuous improvement The suitable candidate must have the relevant experience to fulfil the above…
