CK Group are recruiting for 2 Chocolate Plant Technicians, to join a leading global food brand company, on a contract basis for 9 months.
Salary: To £14.74 per hour PAYE (inside IR35).
Chocolate Plant Technician Role:
- To operate Pilot Plant equipment to make samples.
- Follow detailed instructions from the Cocoa ingredients Team Scientists.
- Tasks will include roasting cocoa beans and making cocoa liquor, and making chocolate using that liquor.
- Administrative tasks such as generating, collecting and collating the key project data (processing data, analytical data, consumer science data).
- Using systems for the admin tasks.
Your Background:
- Any background of using manufacturing equipment.
- A degree within food or a scientific discipline would be preferred.
- Ideally experience of working in a catering or food manufacturing environment.
- Practical mindset with the ability to quickly learn how to use new equipment.
- Keen attention to detail and self motivated.
