The Role

The role of an Office-Based Business Development Manager (BDM) is to be a fundamental part of TalkTalk Businesses continued growth, by building and developing strong and meaningful relationships with future customers, in order to grow business revenue streams through targeted new business activity.

You will work as one part of a two person team (Office-based and Field-Based) and play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities. Your focus will be generating new sales opportunities and arranging virtual/F2F meetings with enterprise business customers. As new customer relationships are formed, it will be the BDM’s responsibility to maintain and expand on these new opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as part of a two-person team, to build, grow and maintain Enterprise New Business Client Base.
  • Create strategies to penetrate new markets and expand our client base.
  • Handle inbound customer enquiries via phone and online channels.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, while enhancing current existing opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with our technical pre-sales team to scope and price new customer projects.
  • Lead client engagements, including interactions up to C-level executives.
  • Demonstrate strong time management attributes and ability to effectively prioritise.
