Immediate Start Available Location: Peterborough Were looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join our clients Procurement team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies About the Role: As a Purchasing Assistant, youll provide vital administrative support to the commodity spend category, focusing on raw materials and MRO distribution items. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, youll work closely with the Commodities Buyer and a supportive team to: – Purchase raw materials and MRO items to meet manufacturing schedule – Liaise with suppliers to resolve delivery issues and queries – Expedite purchase order schedules and manage invoice queries – Support the business system with data input and reporting – Distribute drawings and tender packages to suppliers – Pitch in across departments when needed What Were Looking For:
