We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the design and delivery of complex highways infrastructure projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to high-profile schemes, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end delivery of highways infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to budget.
- Prepare and coordinate business cases, procurement strategies, and detailed project documentation.
- Lead contract administration including the preparation, negotiation, and management of NEC construction contracts.
- Collaborate with design consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and regulatory compliance.
- Produce project reports and updates for senior management and project boards.
- Support health and safety compliance in line with CDM Regulations and best construction practices.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 yearsβ experience managing the delivery of highways infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in preparing business cases, procurement plans, and NEC contract administration.
- Degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant engineering design or construction discipline.
- Working knowledge of CDM regulations and construction health & safety standards.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
Contract Details:
- Duration: 6 months
- Rate: Β£450-Β£500 per day (outside IR35)
- Working Pattern: Hybrid (Remote & On-site as required)
- Mileage: Reimbursed for site visits, calculated from County Hall or home if closer
