Marcilly Recruitment’s client, a young, UHNW family in Chelsea, is seeking a professional and discreet Housekeeper to work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the household.

This is a live-out role working 5 days a week on a rota basis Monday to Friday. The successful housekeeper may be required to travel with the family up to four weeks of the year. The housekeeper must be flexible and willing to adapt to rota changes (early, day and late shift as seen below).

Salary: £40K-£55K

Benefits: annual discretionary bonus (very generous principals); pension – employed through PAYE

Rota shifts: AM STAFF 6:30am – 3:30pm, PM STAFF 11am – 8pm, DAY – 9am – 6pm

Good English and communication skills are vital.

Housekeeper Responsibilities:

- Keeping the house clean and tidy throughout the day.
- Being mindful of all the finishes and care required.
- General laundry and ironing including daily laundry, ironing and changing of towels and beds.
- Clothing care – washing, ironing and steaming plus organising clothes, shoes etc to dry cleaners, cobblers etc.
- Luxury wardrobe management.
- Maintain up-keep of furniture, art, china, collectibles, crystal and silver polishing.
- Keep constant supply of household essentials (water, coffee etc) and cleaning materials.
- Prepare for arrival of visitors and various needs when staying.
- Assistance with luggage, packing and unpacking for travel.
- Shopping and ad hoc errands as required.
- Maintenance when principals are not in residence.
- Co-ordinating deliveries and maintenance visits.
