Buyer / Materials controller

We are looking for an individualwho is well organized, with good communication skills and the ability to multi-task is essential. Your primary role will be Purchasing activities: managing, controlling, goods sourcing and materials inventory ensuring efficient stock levels and smooth operations. Key Accountabilities Run MRP from up-dated sales forecast. Read MRP report and establish items to be orders and required delivery dates. Produce works orders – Machines and Components. Produce purchase orders Components. Progress purchase orders and works orders. Chase late purchase orders. Ensure spare parts safety stocks are monitored and adjusted against production. Oversee the booking in parts received from suppliers. Returns notes checked and chased up against MRP requirements.
